Welcome to the Privacy Policy for the Bahaar E Shari’at mobile application ("the App"), developed by Razvi Developer. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
Local-First Guarantee: Bahaar E Shari’at is built as a fully offline application. It is designed to let you read, search, and bookmark content without requiring an internet connection or cloud storage.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our primary principle is simple: we do not collect, upload, or share any personal data.
- No Personal Information: The App does not require user accounts, logins, registration, or profile creation. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or contacts.
- No Device or Usage Data: The App does not collect unique device identifiers (like UUIDs, IMEIs, or MAC addresses), Advertising IDs, or usage/telemetry metrics.
- Local Database Storage: All features such as reading progress tracking, bookmarks, and configuration settings are saved 100% locally on your own device in an offline database. This data never leaves your device and is not synchronized with any servers.
2. Compliance with App Store and Google Play Policies
To ensure full compliance with the guidelines set by the Google Play Store and Apple App Store:
- App Permissions: The App does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as your camera, microphone, calendar, contacts, photos, or background location.
- Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance):Since the App does not collect any personal data whatsoever, we comply fully with children's online privacy acts. The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children under the age of 13.
- No Third-Party Tracking: We do not integrate any third-party analytics libraries (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics) or advertising SDKs that track user behaviour across apps.
3. Payments and Donations
The App provides optional features to support the maintenance and verification of classical Islamic texts:
- UPI Donations:Users in India can choose to copy our UPI ID or launch installed payment apps to donate. UPI transactions are handled securely and directly by your device's installed banking/UPI apps. No payment information is collected, processed, or stored by the App.
- Third-Party Links: If you use external links (such as developer support profiles), please review the privacy policies of those external services.
4. Data Security
Because all app data (bookmarks, reader configurations, history) resides solely on your physical device, the security of this data is under your direct control. Removing or uninstalling the App will delete all locally saved bookmarks and progress from your device.
